1.  Shira and injera tasting from a very fast lady's mother was delicious and warmed my tummy with a hint of curry and jalapeno on a cool day this weekend. thanks  to my friend Bethlihem! 2. A warm fall day oct19th2024 to go on a walk with my sweetheart they took me crabapple picking for canning season. The next year when they'd come back they'd request this recipe.    Aunty Amber's brunch bake: Casserole  1 bag of frozen hash browns  1can of mushroom 🍄 soup  1 package of ranch seasoning  1ham 🥩 steak cubed , diced 1 bunch of green onions 🧅  Topping  1 cup of Bread 🍞 crumbs 1bag of shredded 🧀 cheese  Mix all ingredients for the best meal and the rest of ingredients on the top and bake. It doubled and tripled easily for a team.

Last years tea I grew was spearmint and Bergamot (the citrus aromatic) of earl grey tea.. this years a spaghetti garden 🏡 the wards Old School money's my kiddos sold to the Italian club ladies for spaghetti sauce ingredients basil oregano chives shallots garlic tomatoes grape and beefsteak variety... It's a planter I made from an old furniture pile I restructured and refurbished it into box planters  none was new  old tins wooden crates coffee tins  wooden drawers from a dresser a few old buckets cardboard egg cartons and eggshells for starting seedlings with coffee and tea grounds for compost in the soil and the rhubarb cilantro spearmint fiddleheads chives aloe vera is offshoots and clippings from family or neighbors,and the rest are from kitchen compost pile scraps like onions beets garlic celery which all just have to be saved from the garbage by cutting them a few centimeters from the Roots to then soak for a few weeks in a old yogurt 🍮 pudding ;) or apple sauce 🫙 cups

Flea market idea I've invented my Spaghetti gardens

 Is this invented for the farmers market idea I've used some kitchen scraps for the planters and started some of the plants in the pots or you can use cardboard egg cartons and eggshells for the seeds and soil. First things first tomato and your choice so I picked tiny tims cherry tomatoes and beefsteak tomatoes 🍅.  Next you plant the onion 🧅 using the scraps from the dinner the other day that you cut an inch from the Roots and place in a half cup of water in a small container.🧅 Third you get the cardboard egg cartons from the recycling bin and fill them up with soil and poke hole in center of each. Plant the oregano and basil seeds to start the herbs for the planters. When appropriate at about 3 inch 🌱sprigs or sprouts in each of the plants and herbs transplant all three into an old recycled with one of the following: wooden crates or  boxes , cupboards, medicine cabinet with mirror removed, build a pallet box, a dresser drawer with hardware removed and painted white.

 Fresh dill Mustard  dry and prepared Ginger Peppercorns Chili flakes 3 cardamom pods Parsley 1 tsp Salt 1cup vinegar 1/3 oil 4garlic cloves 1/2 red pepper diced 1 onion thinly sliced 1 zucchini chunky 1/2 cup chopped green tomatoes  3/4 cup sugar Mix up veg  add liquid put in sanitized jars , cure then cool at room temp. Best served with smoked meats, or as a topping... Especially if the food is bland and u don't want to hurt the persons feelings . Haha

Cranberry rosemary scones

 1  Cup of milk  1 tsp of vinegar  two cups of flour  dash of salt 1/2 teaspoon of sage or Rosemary  1 teaspoon of baking powder  and 3/4 of a cup of butter cut in small cubes cold   1/3 of a cup of craisins Cut butter into flour salt baking powder mixture  should look like pea sized pieces with pastry knife. In a separate bowl mix vinegar and milk set aside to curdle. Add craisins and golden raisins .make a well pour into dry mix until fruit distribution is even.sprinkle counter top with flour place dough ball in center roll until 3/4 inch thick cut in triangles place on baking sheet bake in preheated oven at 350 for 16-20 minutes

1 can condensed  milk 1 cup of shredded  fresh coconut (frozen) 1tsp vanilla 2 1/2 cups of  milk 3 egg yolks 5 tsp of cornstarch  2 tbsp butter In  a double  boiler  on medium heat mix together  first 4 ingredients  set aside 1/2 cup of milk to make slurry . In another container mix remaining milk with cornstarch and egg yolks .  pour in slowly  while constantly

Rosemary Mandarin marmalade In. Blender  add 5-7 Mandarin oranges with peel blend semi roughly In a small pot on medium heat add remaining ingredients except cornstarch bring to boil and reduce heat (20min) total cooking time    5-7 mandarins   Grate1 tsp fresh ginger  1 cup sugar 1 sprig fresh rosemary chopped roughly 1/2 sprig fresh thyme leaves 1 tsp butter (Can add 1/2 seeded lemon to blender for tartness) 2tsp cornstarch with a tiny amount of lemon juice or orange juice to make a slurry to thicken

In a muffin tin   Use a  cup or cookie cutter and  cut out 6-12 rounds of bread  depends on pan size..place in bottom of muffin tin.    Ring bacon around the edges and crack an egg into centre.    Or hollow out part of Avacador halve and crack eggs (can be beaten) or  if on a diet use the egg whites    Bake @ 400 for 15 -20 minutes

  2 cups of blueberries 1/3 cup orange juice /3 cup of sugar piece of vanilla bean 2 tsp of agar   3 tbsp THC oil (I used THC infused coconut oil) Step 1. Blend blueberries and orange juice Step 2. xPrince George has two main river trails with an artist enhanced carving s of faces and other gems the walk through hundred year old cotton wood Island is amazing. Also guided tours are available at Forests for the world walking or mountain biking  the most amazing trails for the outdoorsman . xGuelph speed river has a good family oriented river walk with a famously known ice cream shop, canoeing, law bowling, ball diamonds, a few playgrounds, and outdoor pool. Edmonton has a amazing trail for runners paralell along jasper ave overlooking the golf course and skyline of the downtown and across the river along both sides. Leduc Calgary river trails are along Bow valley river alongside the light fixure recycled art Ookatoks High River Red deer/lethbridge Ottawa River, so far I've only  found GATINEAU river trails  around montreal;)

revamped for company 1 sweet potato grated skin on 1-2 eggs beaten 1tsp mrs dash spice blend Salt and pepper Handful of fresh garlic or chives approx 1/4 cup 2tbsp flour  any kind (chickpea or cornmeal work well)     Mix all ingredients and in a hot pan coat bottom with cooking oil  turn down   on med heat  cook until golden with lid partially covered , the trick is to only flip once.  You can use a dinner plate for this. Top with sour cream and grated cheddar

 In a small pot   Place 1/4 cup sugar or sweeter. And 2 cups of frozen mixed berries and a splash or orange juice . Boil and reduce down on med heat.  BANNOCK  2  -3 cups of all purpose flour as needed 2 packets Dr oteker  baking powder Pinch of salt  1 tablespoon sugar  1/2 cup butter room temperature  1 cup milk Mix dry ingredients, add in wet. Form a dough do not over mix!   In  a 350 degree oven on a overy generously buttered pan  bake  for 35 minutes.  Or pan fry. In oil at 375 degree  until golden brown. ( oil should be half way up the sides of  the dough .  Serve with warm freezer jam Or as a side to soups

Spaghetti and beans with fresh tomato garlic artichoke sauce

Quick and easy veggie lunch! In a large pot  full of salted water add two handfuls of spaghetti and half a can of kidney beans (white or red)  In another small pot  bring  1/3 cup of Olive oil handful of fresh herbs (basil, oregano etc), a pinch of crushed red chili flakes,1small jar undrained artichoke hearts, and 2 garlic cloves minced add 1-2 large diced tomatoes , cook on med until pastas done drain  and mix together.

This stew can be done in a crock pot all day on low as the okra will expand or on the stove top quick in 40 minutes. 1 buttercup squash diced 1/2 onion diced 1 tsp ginger grated  1/2 cup green garlic 2 bouillon cubes (go bio vegetable is the best ) 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen okra 2 tsp coriander 2 tsp tumeric (for color) salt pepper to taste

only 3 ingredients.... halved avacados beaten eggs, 1 per 2 halves shredded  cheese for the top some  variations  include   sliced turkey,  ham or  add in fresh herbs  to beaten eggs Slightly hollow out  avacados fillen with sliced turkey or  (no meat veggie option can use vegan cheese if you want )fresh herbs and beaten eggs top with shredded  cheese . Bake at 425° for 15 minutes  covered and 5 minutes to brown the tops. .
