xPrince George has two main river trails with an artist enhanced carving s of faces and other gems the walk through hundred year old cotton wood Island is amazing. Also guided tours are available at Forests for the world walking or mountain biking the most amazing trails for the outdoorsman . xGuelph speed river has a good family oriented river walk with a famously known ice cream shop, canoeing, law bowling, ball diamonds, a few playgrounds, and outdoor pool. Edmonton has a amazing trail for runners paralell along jasper ave overlooking the golf course and skyline of the downtown and across the river along both sides. Leduc Calgary river trails are along Bow valley river alongside the light fixure recycled art Ookatoks High River Red deer/lethbridge Ottawa River, so far I've only found GATINEAU river trails around montreal;)
