Last years tea I grew was spearmint and Bergamot (the citrus aromatic) of earl grey tea.. this years a spaghetti garden ๐ก the wards Old School money's my kiddos sold to the Italian club ladies for spaghetti sauce ingredients basil oregano chives shallots garlic tomatoes grape and beefsteak variety... It's a planter I made from an old furniture pile I restructured and refurbished it into box planters none was new old tins wooden crates coffee tins wooden drawers from a dresser a few old buckets cardboard egg cartons and eggshells for starting seedlings with coffee and tea grounds for compost in the soil and the rhubarb cilantro spearmint fiddleheads chives aloe vera is offshoots and clippings from family or neighbors,and the rest are from kitchen compost pile scraps like onions beets garlic celery which all just have to be saved from the garbage by cutting them a few centimeters from the Roots to then soak for a few weeks in a old yogurt ๐ฎ pudding ;) or apple sauce ๐ซ cups ... And the sprouts in a rinsed out mason jar with an elastic band and a snagged recycled pair of nylons
